![]() ![]() The first thing to note for both this talent build and the Beast Mastery build above is the lack of Hawk Eye. Talents such as Barrage, Entrapment and abilities Aimed Shot, Track Humanoids, and Silencing Shot will give Hunters an edge against classes such as Mages and Warlocks.īest PvP Talent Builds for Hunter in Burning Crusade Classicīeast Mastery 41/20/0 Hunter PvP DPS Talent Build ![]() Marksmanship will be your go-to specialization while taking some of the utility from the Survival tree. While PvP may sound dreadful for Hunters in PvP, they are still the kings of Battlegrounds. Having the deadzone removed right off the bat makes the melee/range situation of 5 yards much more manageable for dealing with a multitude of situations.īattleground Viability for Hunters in Burning Crusade Classic Arcane Shot dispels 1 Magic effect and now scales with Attack Power opposed to the early TBC days where it scaled with Spell Power.Aimed Shot will provide a Mortal Strike effect reducing healing down to that target by 50% for 8 seconds. One of the major differences this time around though with TBC Classic is that we will be playing on the final patch of the expansion which brings quite a few massive changes. Statistically speaking, Hunters are the worst arena class from original TBC. Hunters ultimately have an answer for every other class in the game and learning to play efficiently and reach that high skill ceiling will be rewarding to play.Īrena Viability for Hunters in Burning Crusade Classic The skill ceiling for Hunters is incredibly high and you will always be learning new tricks/improvements on how to play better and counter certain teams/opponents. Hunters can actually perform rather well in Battlegrounds and open world PvP however will fall behind in Arenas. Hunters in TBC Classic will very much be "viable" however are still not a top tier class. PvP Viability for Hunters in Burning Crusade Classic Of all the three specializations, Beast Mastery will see moderate success in the lower bracket levels while Marksmanship will be your go to for the higher rated games which unfortunately tend to be long drawn out drain games. However you do have the added benefit in survivability with the small boost from Survivalist and some added utility with Wyvern Sting. Survival - The specialization is similar in gameplay to Marksmanship although your dps burst will be slightly lower. While draining the healers mana you will peel enemy dps off your own healers with the help of Frost Trap, Concussive Shot, and Scatter Shot. To protect your Viper Sting from being dispelled you will also maintain Hunter's Mark and five stacks of Scorpid Poison, this is why having a Scorpid is so important. What this means is you drain your opposing healers mana with Viper Sting. While playing Marksmanship in PvP you will be forced into slower "drain" games as they are known. Marksmanship - This specialization is focused more around utility as well as dps. With Bestial Wrath, and The Beast Within, Ravager as your pet and other DPS classes as your teammates you are essentially trying to "nuke" down the opponent before they even have time to react and counter. Beast Mastery - This specialization is is essentially your "burst" spec.Early on in PvP seasons Hunters are known for playing more burst style gameplay while resilience levels of the opponent are still relatively low. There is a very high skill ceiling in PvP for Hunters and all three specializations are "viable" but play completely different to each other and none are considered top tier among the other classes. Hunters in PvP are straight damage dealers.
